Disney closes Russian site, social media pages, removes YouTube content in Russian
Disney has closed its Russian website, pages on social media and removed videos from Russian-language YouTube channels.
In particular, the company removed the sites disney.ru and channel.disney.ru. When going to these pages, Russian users are now offered to choose another country from a list.

Disney also removed Russia from the list of partner countries and deleted pages on local social networks VK and Odnoklassniki, as well as on Twitter.
In addition, from the YouTube channels of the Russian divisions of Disney Animated Series, Good Morning Mickey and Short Animation all videos were removed, except for broadcast recordings. Videos from the Russian YouTube channels of Disney and StarWars were also removed.

Disney has stopped renewing licenses for its content to all Russian streaming platforms.
The company announced back in March that Disney was ceasing all business in Russia.
The company suspended content and product licensing, cruise lines, National Geographic magazine and local content production.
Earlier it was reported that the streaming service Netflix had bought the rights to show a large package of Ukrainian films.
