‘Disney on Ice-Find Your Hero’ is bringing magic to KeyBank Center

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Are you wishing upon a star, for some of your favorite Disney characters would come to Western New York? Well if so, your dreams have come true!

This weekend, Disney on Ice-Find Your Hero will bring some of that Disney Magic right to the ice of KeyBank Center.

The show will include some of the classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck and Goofy on an adventure through six different Disney stories, like the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Moana, Frozen and Encanto.

“There’s something for everyone,” said Matthew Kershaw, an assemble performer, for Disney On Ice-Find Your Hero.

Kershaw is from Southern England and has been skating since he was 6-years-old.

“It’s the best job it really is, we get to bring so much joy to these children and adults alike,” said Kershaw. “It’s amazing to see them all smiling, having the time of their lives, and singing along–it’s the best thing ever I promise.”

There’s more than 100 people among performers, crews, and staff that help make the magic happen for the production.

  • 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26

  • 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27

  • 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28
