Disney on Ice, 'Trolls Live!' among family fun offered in Columbus this winter
Family-friendly events, most of which have some sort of TV tie-in, abound this winter, so those who would like to make a switch from the small screen to the large stage will have plenty of choices.
Fans of Mickey and Minnie, as well as those who favor Elsa and Moana, can watch their favorites on ice at Nationwide Arena, while those who prefer the Trolls can get their fill at Value City Arena.

Public television viewers can enjoy the old characters from "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" as re-imagined in “Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood,” and a version of "Cinderella" — originally produced in the Golden Age of television — will take the stage at the Palace Theatre.
And those in search of something a little different should relish the world of Mexican wrestling as presented in CATCO's “Luchadora!”

Details: Disney veteran Mickey Mouse is joined by Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy as they skate through the history of Disney animation, with stops at the many lands of "Fantasia," the kingdom of “Frozen,” and the warmer world of “Moana.”

Details: In a show tailor-made for preschoolers, Daniel Tiger and his friends from the popular PBS show, including O the Owl and Katerina Kittycat, visit the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and teach gentle lessons involving friendship, helping others and the pleasures of new experiences. Expect dance and song, including the iconic “Won't You Be My Neighbor?”

Details: In a show designed for the very young, and promising “singing, dancing, rainbows, glitter and plenty of hugs,” Poppy, Branch, Cloud Guy, Biggie, Mr. Dinkles and many of their friends will get together to entertain preschoolers.
