PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Did winter weather recently dash your chance to see Disney’s The Lion King perform at Keller Auditorium? If so, no worries – or should we say Hakuna Matata?

The Broadway show will return to Portland for two weeks in Fall 2025, and those who had tickets to the canceled shows in January 2024 will have pre-sale access.

The official performance dates have yet to be announced, but Jack Eldon with the Disney Theatrical Group said they are excited to return.

“We are thrilled that, with the support of our dedicated partners at Broadway in Portland, we’ll be able to share the joy of The Lion King again with audiences at Keller Auditorium in 2025,” Eldon said. “We were truly disappointed to cancel recent performances, but remain grateful to the Portland community for always embracing our touring productions and for understanding that safety is always paramount.”
