Disneyland's beloved Apple Pie Sundae, formerly known as Apple Pie a la Mode, is back and better than ever. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour has reintroduced the traditionally fall-slated launch a little early this year and, obviously, we're here for it.

Let's backtrack for a quick sec, though. The original Apple Pie a la Mode sounds slightly different from what we're talking about now. According to Disney Food Blog, it includes apple pie with crumbles, a caramel drizzle, and vanilla ice cream. However, the new and improved version features caramelized apples (!), caramel (!!), and a graham cracker streusel (!!!). I told you: better than ever.

Since I'm personally of the belief that there's nothing greater than a warm apple pie-vanilla ice cream combo, I was pretty psyched to hear the dessert is exactly this. "The warmth from the apples blended beautifully with each scoop of cold ice cream," the Disney Food Blog review reads. "We ate it so fast that we were left wanting more." That's what seconds are for, guys.

It's currently available at Gibson Girl for $7.99, and while technically it's supposed to exit menus by the end of the month, we can probably expect it back around Halloween again.

If you've got a taste for something a little more, I don't know, Instagrammable, you should probably check out Disney World's all-pink menu. The fact that everything on it tastes as good as it looks is a major bonus.
