Disneyland To Mandate COVID Vaccine For Union Employees: Report

ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland will require all of its employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine following a breakdown in negotiations with several labor unions representing park employees, the Voice of OC reported.

The Walt Disney Company, which oversees Disneyland, decided to move forward Thursday with requiring all of its union and non-union employees to show proof of vaccination by April 11.

Labor unions have been negotiating with Disney over whether or not a vaccination mandate would also apply to theme park guests when the company announced its decision for employees, according to Voice of OC.

Guests to Disneyland and other theme parks in Orange County will not be required to have proof of vaccination for entry.

However, in Los Angeles County, visitors to Universal Studios Hollywood and Six Flags Magic Mountain must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter either theme park per an order from the county's health department.
