Distinguished Young Women pageants to take place Nov. 19, 20

Nov. 15—Area high school seniors will compete in Distinguished Young Women pageants this weekend at Caston High School.

The pageants will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Saturday pageant will feature students from Cass County. The Sunday pageant features Fulton and Winamac County students.

The Cass County competition includes Gracie Kitchell (Logansport), Abbagail Coffing (Caston), Ilene Alpha (Pioneer), Savannah Bowser (Lewis Cass), Shivana Gutierrez (Pioneer), Luna Tafolla (Logansport) and Grace Alpha (Pioneer).

Fulton County competitors are Madison Campbell (Caston), Delaney Lowry (Caston), Shaylin Wilcox (Tippecanoe Valley) and Alivia Paul (Caston).

Grace Wenzler, of Winamac High School, is the lone Winamac competitor.

Admission is free. Those attending should enter through the south gym lobby doors.

Last year's Distinguished Young Woman of Cass County was Sheccid Gutierrez (Pioneer). Kelsey Connor (Winamac) was the Distinguished Young Woman of Winamac, and Reagan Becker (Rochester) was the Distinguished Young Woman of Fulton County.

The winner of each program will go to the Distinguished Young Woman of Indiana competition in February.
