District tennis results: Find out which Brevard high school teams won district titles

Teams from Edgewood, Melbourne, Satellite, Viera and West Shore won district championships in high school tennis Tuesday through Thursday as teams earned spots in FHSAA regional play that begins Tuesday.

In the District 7-1A tournament at Fee Avenue Park in Melbourne, Edgewood's girls claimed the district title. Holy Trinity finished second. On the boys side of the district, West Shore won the team championship, and Holy Trinity finished as district runners-up.

In District 8-2A at Singleton Courts in Titusville, Satellite's boys and girls teams took home championship trophies. The Merritt Island boys and girls earned second place.

Melbourne won the District 7-3A boys title at Fee Avenue Park on Thursday, and the Bulldogs will host Okeechobee in a Tuesday regional semifinal, while Viera finished second. The Hawks girls won their tournament, while Melbourne tied with Gateway for second. The teams will compete for the runner-up's regional spot in a tiebreaker match.

Girls Doubles: No.1- Boysen/Carpenter (S) def. Clark/Kunik (MI) 6-1, 6-1; No. 2- Farson/Dunkin (S) def. Horne/Nielsen (MI) 6-2, 6-0.

Boys Singles: No. 1- Lindstrom (S) def. Searle (MI) 6-0, 6-0; No. 2- Charlez-Alcock (S) def. Margiatto (R) 6-0, 6-0; No. 3- Domkowski (S) def. Oglesby (MI) 6-0, 6-0; No. 4- Vigliotti (S) def. Richardson (A) 6-0, 6-1; No. 5- Franllicciard (S) def. Wells (A) 6-2, 6-1.

Boys Doubles: No. 1- Lindstrom/Charlez-Alcock (S) def. Searle/Campbell (MI) 6-0, 6-0; No. 2- Domkowski/Vigliotti def. Oglesby/Gregoire (MI) 6-0, 6-0.
