Diversity scholarships for east Cobb area students
Jun. 2—Students may apply for a diversity scholarship made available through the Life Skills Outreach Ministry at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Five scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded for the 2022-2023 school year. The Life Skills Outreach Ministry project provides merit-based, need-based scholarships for continuing education at the college or technical school level for members of historically marginalized populations who reside in eastern Cobb County — the Sprayberry, Wheeler, Lassiter, Pope, Kell and Walton High School footprints.
