Dixon named new OTPS athletic director

Jun. 27—Oologah-Talala Public Schools (OTPS) recently announced the appointment of Dru Dixon as its new athletic director.

With an impressive background in public education spanning three decades, Dixon brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Having served as an administrator for 18 years and a coach for 12 years, he has made significant contributions to the field of education throughout his career.

Dixon's coaching prowess has been showcased in various schools, including Wagoner, Checotah and Rogers County's own Sequoyah, where he has coached football and track teams. His dedication and passion for sports have left a lasting impact on his students and fellow educators alike.
