DMV offices to be closed in observance of President’s Day

CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — In observance of the President’s Day holiday, all 26 West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be closed.

Offices will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2024 for President’s Day. Even though offices will be closed, DMV services will still be available online, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

The DMV Self Service portal should be utilized by customers for things such as renewing driver’s licenses and car registrations, paying property taxes, or services for license plates. The DMV also has 12 self service DMV Now Kiosks, which are located throughout the state where customers can use them for car and other related services as well.

All West Virginia DMV regional offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
