DoAbilene! calendar: First Holy Week luncheon Monday
New First Baptist Church senior pastor Brandon Hudson will be the leadoff speaker for the annual Holy Week sermon series, which begins Monday at First Central Presbyterian Church.
Doors open at 11:45 a.m., with the event beginning at noon. Attendees are invited to bring their lunch; drinks and dessert will be served. The theme this year is "The Week Called Holy." Four ministers will speak at another's church on the theme.
The series goes to Highland Church of Christ on Tuesday.
There is no charge to attend.
There series for two years was online only during the pandemic but returned to an in-person gathering last year.
