DoAbilene! calendar: Holy Week sermon series continues

The third Holy Week sermon series talk will be given Wednesday by Shane Hughes of Highland Church of Christ at First Baptist's Family Life Center.

Doors opens at 11:45 a.m., with Hughes to speak after prayer and music.

Tea and water will be served along with dessert. There is no cost, and the event is open to the public.

Chamber's candidate forum is Wednesday

The Abilene Chamber of Commerce will have a candidate forum from 8-9 a.m. Wednesday at Abilene Woman's Club, 3425 South 14th St.

Candidates for the local May 6 election will be asked questions prepared in advance but not available to them.
