Doctor Who star Georgia Tennant has poked fun at her husband, Doctor Who himself, David Tennant for being described as a "DILF."

An X account posted a jovial series of posts stating the "top three DILFS" with David coming in at number three. DILF is a common acronym meaning "Dad I'd like to f***."

Georgia playfully responded to the tweet by writing: "Once he’s Googled what ‘Dilf’ means, he’ll be thrilled. And unbearable."

Georgia and David are a popular couple with fans and, earlier this year, Georgia posted a sweet tribute to David on his birthday, writing on Instagram: "This is (apparently) 52. Happy Birthday to the best person most of us will ever know. The kindest of people, the cleverest of people, the funniest of people and the best dad of (many) people."

"Sometimes I wonder what I do to deserve him… but then I remember someone has to handle the social media x."

Georgia and David met on the set of Doctor Who when Georgia played the Doctor's daughter in the episode of the same name. They have been married since 2011.

Georgia will be starring in the upcoming third season of Staged and in an interview earlier this year she teased that she has an exciting role in the pipeline that she isn't allowed to discuss.

When asked if she has any exciting roles coming up, she answered: "Yes, hugely. But I have just had a text from my agent saying I am not allowed to talk about it."

The role could be any number of parts but fans have been speculating if she will make a long-awaited return to Doctor Who just like her husband did.

Doctor Who returns later in 2023 on BBC One in the UK and Disney+ elsewhere. Meanwhile, in the US, the show airs on BBC America, with series 1-12 available on Max.
