Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Georgia Tennant are hosting a charity quiz for fans.

The couple will be raising money for the Marie Curie charity, which provides terminally ill cancer patients and their families with support.

The quiz is set to take place on Tuesday, December 15 at 8pm online (where else?) and fans can sign up here to register and take part in all the Doctor Who fun.

The Marie Curie Celebrity Quiz event includes other celebrities hosting quizzes throughout the month, and they have raised over £21,000 for the charity at time of writing.

Those who choose to donate to take part in the quiz will be entered into a prize draw to win lots of goodies just in time for Christmas.

Georgia took to Twitter to encourage fans to join them on the night – and update everyone on another upcoming project.

She tweeted: "Please come join us or it's just David and I staring at a computer screen for a few hours talking inanely at each other. Speaking of which, the second series of #Staged isn't too far away! @staged2020."

Doctor Who will be returning for its festive special 'Revolution of the Daleks' giving the villains the opportunity to take centre stage.

The special will also sadly see the departures of Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole from the show – but will the Daleks have anything to do with their exit story?

Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US, and will return for a festive special on New Year's Day 2021.
