Dog The Bounty Hunter Has Been Released From The Hospital

A Medical Emergency

Dog's Most Wanted star Duane "Dog" Chapman was rushed to the hospital over the weekend due to a heart related emergency. While it was initially thought that he had suffered from a heart attack, doctors found that it was just high blood pressure, potentially due to the stress of losing his wife, Beth, to cancer earlier this year.

An Update From His Team

On Tuesday, his team issued a statement saying that Chapman was at home and recovering from the incident.

"Dog is back at home and resting comfortably. He is overwhelmed by the support of fans and friends from around the world, and is deeply touched by the outpouring of prayers, love, and encouragement. While he is following doctor's orders and taking time to heal, he wants everyone to follow DOG'S ORDERS and watch Dog's Most Wanted Wednesday night on WGN America."

Fan Encouragement

His fans offered some words of encouragement on social media, encouraging the reality star to keep fighting.

"Remember what Beth said, watch your smoking . Cut the smoking and rest a bit more get well Dog"

"Broken heart I'm sure. Sending healing vibes."

"Your bereaved and broken heart needs time to heal. Rest and give yourself that time."

"Dog please get better. Beth would want you to live your life the best you can"
