Dog Chases Stag Down A2 in Kent
Shocked motorists watched on as a dog chased down a runaway stag along a London-bound carriageway in Kent, England.
Video recorded by Georgia Leadbeater shows a dog chasing down a fleeing stag along the A2, a major road connecting London with the English Channel. Leadbeater shared the video on social media with the caption “Not your usual drive along the A2.”
The deer leapt over the middle barriers onto the London-bound side, before escaping into a nearby field.
Leadbeater told Storyful that although she initially thought it was a stag and its fawn, upon closer inspection she realized it was a dog.
“I managed to swerve in front of the dog to break the chase and tried to call the dog to the car to rescue it. But as soon as the chase was broken, the dog ran back into the carriageway on the other side of the road and back into the fields, "Leadbeater said.
