Service dog has epic reaction seeing his hero, Dug from 'Up,' at Disney's Animal Kingdom

They say you should never meet your heroes. But what if they turn out to be everything you imagined?

Henry the service dog couldn't hide his enthusiasm when he got to interact with a character dressed as the pup Dug from the 2009 animated movie "Up" at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

His handler Jessica Paulsen posted videos of the encounter to Henry's Instagram account @kinghenryofnashville. The popular pup currently has around 116,000 followers.

In the video shared Monday, Henry walks up to Dug, tail wagging, as Dug's tail appears to wag, too. He gives the characters dressed as Russell and Dug a sniff before looking back at the camera.

"I have just met you and I love you," reads the caption under the video of Henry.

It was the second time Henry saw Dug in person. He first encountered a character dressed up as Dug at Animal Kingdom last May.

Paulsen, who calls the duo in Henry's Instagram biography "two world travelers with a story to tell," has filled the pup's Instagram page with images from their journeys, many of which have taken place at "The Happiest Place on Earth."

Paulsen also included more information about Henry's occupation as a service dog.

"Furiends please note that Henry is a working dog but Disney days are long and character meets are a great reward for all of Henry's hard work," the caption said.

According to Paulsen's own Instagram bio (@henryshandler), she has a condition called postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (or POTS), which affects blood flow. Her bio also states that she has hEDS (hypermobile type Ehlers-Danlos syndrome), ME/CFS (chronic fatigue), IBS, Lyme and EBV (Epstein-Barr virus).
