LANCASTER − The Dog House Tavern will welcome the fall season with a music festival at 2 p.m. Sunday. Ted Russell Kamp will headline the show and perform with Matt Woods. Wendy Pennington, Daniel Rhymer and Zack Zultz are also on the bill.

Kamp plays bass for Shooter Jennings' band. Jennings is the son of legendary country artist Waylon Jennings. Shooter Jennings is not scheduled to appear, however.

Kamp, who has released several solo albums, will play an acoustic set with Mike Woods and may also perform some tunes with just his bass. Kamp said he plays folk, rock, some country, blues and some outlaw country music inspired by Shooter and Waylon Jennings.

"It's going to be great coming back to Lancaster and seeing some old friends," he said.

Kamp has played in Lancaster before and became friends with Pennington on previous visits. He is playing in Circleville on Saturday, so he said the Sunday show fits into his touring schedule.

Here's what you need to know about the music festival:

  • The festival will also feature Tiberio's pizza and drink specials.

  • The show is free to attend.

  • The show will be on the bar's outdoor patio and is set to end around 8 p.m. or so.

  • The Dog House Tavern is located at 701 Reese Ave.
