Dog save the Queen! Corgi's parade for Platinum Jubilee

STORY: Many of the dogs wore festive neckerchiefs with Union Jack flags on. One was spotted kitted out in a ceremonial uniform.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has owned more than 30 corgis over the course of her reign, including 14 generations of the same dog family.

The Queen's father, King George VI, was the first British royal to have one of the small dogs.

Event organizer Agatha Gilbert said the parade is the best way to celebrate the Jubilee: "We have around over 100 corgis parading today to honor Her Majesty,'' she said, adding that all participants are "members of either UK Corgi Club or Great Corgi Club of Britain."
