Dogs dress up for canine carnival in Rio's Copacabana
STORY: Barks and wagging tales joined the samba drums and bounces to the BloCao, a carnival group created so that pets and owners could celebrate Carnival together in full regalia.
The canine carnival runs alongside other major festivities in Rio. Every year, the city fills with Brazilians and tourists from all around the world for celebrations and elaborate parades in Rio’s Sambadrome and on the streets.
The human Carnival competitions will take place from Feb. 9 to 17.
