Dog's messy halftime performance steals the show at Louisville basketball game
A messy night Tuesday in the Louisville men's basketball team's game at the KFC Yum Center got even messier during the halftime performance.
It was a routine act at the start, featuring a man throwing frisbees for a dog to catch during a break in the action between the Cardinals and Virginia Tech. But the show went viral when it was finished after the dog popped a squat and pooped on the court, with thousands of fans in attendance. The handler carried the dog off the floor immediately afterward as attendees laughed and arena personnel cleaned up the mess.

It may have been the most memorable moment of the night for Louisville fans in the crowd. The Cardinals, in their home finale, fell 71-54 after letting a close game slip away in the final 9:07. It was their 17th double-digit loss of the season, which has featured just four wins so far.
The irony the messy halftime show during the difficult season wasn't lost on some who watched the game.
Matt McGavic, who covers the Cardinals for Sports Illustrated's FanNation outlet, called the show a "perfect representation of Louisville's season."
In what is a perfect representation of Louisville's season, the dog performing at halftime just pooped on the court.
