The former post office and bank building and the old bank drive-thru will be demolished to make way for a new 10,640-square-foot Dollar General Market.

Plans show the new store will be built on the northern side of the property, with 13 parking spaces in front of the store on the Lynn Garden Drive side and a larger parking lot with 23 spaces on the Walker Street side. The lots will be accessible from both Lynn Garden Drive and Walker Street.
