The Franklin High School marching band has a lot to celebrate these days.

There's a planned trip to New York City to play in the St. Patrick's day parade, an upcoming performance in the Williamson County Marching Band Exhibition and now a special shout out from the queen of country herself, Dolly Parton.

The band is set to perform a series of songs from Parton in its upcoming show titled, "From Rags to Rhinestones."

In a heartfelt video message, Parton said she was proud and honored that the band would be performing her songs, and she hopes they have as much fun playing them as she did writing them.

"That's so exciting!" she said. "I know you'll be amazing."
