Dolly Parton will close out May 11's 58th Academy of Country Music Awards at Dallas' Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, by delivering what a press release calls "one of her most significant performances to date" of the world premiere of the lead single from her forthcoming rock album, tentatively titled "Rock Star."

Moreso than HARDY's seven nominations or the return of the ACMs to Dallas since setting a Guinness World Record, with 70,252 attendees at AT&T Stadium in 2015, the event celebrating the icon's stunning desire -- since her 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction -- to explore her rock interests more directly than ever before, is noteworthy.

Noteworthy too will be performances from Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jo Dee Messina, Ashley McBryde, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman.

Additional performers joining the event will be announced in the coming weeks.

For Aldean, Combs, Lambert, Wallen, The War And Treaty and Zimmerman, these performances mark their only televised country music awards performances of the season.

"We feel so nervous -- this is a massive moment for not just [The War and Treaty], but for the ACMs as well," stated Michael and Tanya Trotter. For them, the event marks the first awards show appearance they're making as a tandem, solo.
