Dolly Parton has multiple flower and butterfly tattoos to 'cover scars'
Dolly Parton may be famed for her iconic look as much as her voice but she does keep some parts of herself well-concealed, including multiple tattoos.
The 73-year-old has divulged that she's been inked with flowers and butterflies to cover up "scars or things".
Speaking on Good Morning America on Monday, the 9 to 5 singer shared: "I got them to cover scars or things. If I have to get a scar for any reason, I never can kind of get rid of that purple look.

"So I thought, 'Well, I'm going to kind of decorate these with some flowers or little butterflies or whatever.'"
It comes as Parton has previously shot down rumours that she has sleeve tattoos up her arms.
Speaking to Today in 2014, she said: "People said the other day that the reason you wear sleeves is that you have snake tattoos all over you, and I said, 'No, I don't.'"
One core part of the country singer's image is her big blonde wigs, however, they are also the part of the reason why she won't go on the rides at her own theme park, Dollywood.
She told The New York Times earlier in the year: "I don't ride the rides. I never have. I have a tendency to get motion sickness.
“Also, I'm a little bit chicken. With all my hair I got so much to lose, like my wig or my shoes.
“I don't like to get messed up. I'm gonna have some handsome man mess it up, I don't want some ride doing it."
