The Miami Dolphins made multiple moves on Saturday in preparation for their Week 13 matchup with the New York Giants.

The team announced that wide receiver DeVante Parker and center Michael Deiter have been activated from injured reserve. Parker has been out since Week 8 against Buffalo when he had his best game of the season. Deiter hasn’t played since Week 3 when he was dealing with foot and quad injuries.

Miami only had one room on the active roster, so they waived center Cameron Tom to make room. They will likely try to get Tom back on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed. This leaves the Dolphins with Deiter as the starting center and Austin Reiter as the backup.

Both Parker and Deiter have been solid when they’ve been healthy this year. Tua Tagovailoa has another weapon to throw to and better blocking ahead of him, so it would make sense that the offense would see a bit of a boost this week and going forward.

The Dolphins also announced that they have elevated safety Sheldrick Redwine from the practice squad for this game.
