Domestic shipments of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are on hold. A government source tells ABC News distribution stopped several weeks ago.

- Domestic shipments of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine now on hold. A government source tells ABC News distribution stopped several weeks ago. One reason was, waning demand. But production problems have also been a factor. Yesterday the FDA extended the shelf life of that vaccine to 4 and 1/2 months. So existing doses do not have to be thrown out.
