Domino’s delivery worker beaten bloody in Bronx robbery

A Domino’s Pizza delivery worker was beaten and robbed in a wild seven-on-one brawl in the Bronx, police said Sunday.

The 37-year-old delivery worker was trying to make a delivery to an apartment building on Macombs Rd. near Inwood Ave. in Mt. Eden on Jan. 12 when he and his customer started arguing, police said.

The customer was peeved he had to come outside to get his order after the worker explained the chain’s policy prevented him bringing the delivery directly to his apartment, police said.

The worker and the customer started trading punches when six more men showed up to pile on, cops said. The worker was beaten bloody in the lopsided fight — and was ripped off for a total of about $1,000, includng his property and his car, cops said.

The vicious pack fled into a nearby building.

Medics took the victim to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

Video shows the suspects cramming into an elevator, one of them holding the Domino’s worker’s food delivery bag.

Cops ask anyone with information about the suspects to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
