Welcome back, Upper East Siders. Just when you thought that Gossip Girl was done sharing all the secrets of NYC elite, she's back and ready to share intel on some brand new faces. While it might not center around the characters from the original series, HBO Max's Gossip Girl reboot brings back everyone's favorite blogger as she follows a new set of NYC rich kids in present time. So whether you're a huge Gossip Girl fan or a newbie to the fandom that's ready to become obsessed with this show, you're definitely going to want to get all the info on the show.

Here's everything you need to know about HBO Max's Gossip Girl reboot.

Is there a trailer?

Gossip Girl's first trailer is here and things are getting pretty heated thanks to the GG Instagram account. Looks like no one is safe in this revival series, even if you're the new kid at school. Of course, there's also the fashion, love triangles, and wild drama all sprinkled in there as well. Watch the trailer below:

The first teaser for Gossip Girl was previously released and showing us that our favorite blogger is back and bigger than ever. While we get a small glimpse at the new group of Upper East Siders that we'll be following this series, we still can't tell if one of them is behind it all or if there's a different character who is pulling the strings. Either way, things are definitely heating up.

When will the Gossip Girl reboot be released?

Along with the teaser, it was revealed that the series will be released on July 8. If it follows other HBO series, it will likely come out weekly instead of all at once.

Are there any pics of the new Gossip Girl reboot?

As we already know, anything that happens in NYC isn't kept a secret for long. The cast has been spotted all around the city filming the series and paparazzi found them hanging around the iconic MET steps. In true GG style, we got all the photos for you to see, but unfortunately, details around the series are still under wraps, so we don't much about these characters and what they're doing just yet.

When will the Gossip Girl reboot start filming?

Good news, GG fans! The Gossip Girl reboot is finally set to begin production in October in NYC. Series creator, Joshua Safran, did a special Twitter Ask Me Anything in honor of the big news and noted that the show isn't really a reboot, but an extension of the original show.

"I really wanted this to feel like an extension and in no way a reboot. So it's an evolution of the story, not a retread," Joshua revealed on Twitter. "That said, there are echoes. Constance and St. Judes are still Constance and St. Judes, after all."

Hopefully, this means we'll see plenty of our old faves back again in NYC for some more crazy fun.

Who is starring in the Gossip Girl reboot?

The Gossip Girl reboot is filled with a nice mix of new and familiar faces. Descendants star Thomas Doherty, Code Black actress Emily Alyn Lind, and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists' Eli Brown have all joined the cast along with some brand new stars that you'll definitely be obsessed with.

Will any of our favorite characters return?

Never say never! While none of the original cast members have been confirmed to come back, since the show takes place five years after the finale, there's still a chance for them to pop up every now and again.

"Well, we talk about what happened to Dan [Humphrey], so I might have to text Penn [Badgley] and see if he's really available," producer Joshua Safran said. "Penn also works constantly, but we'll see if we can rope him in there. That would be great. I would love for everyone to come back if they wanted to. The universe still exists. The characters talk about Serena, Blair, Chuck, Dan."

"They are a part of the world. The characters talk about them and that they do exist. So, yeah, I would love to have them come back. The show jumped five years in the future when it ended and we are past that five years now, so it's whole new things that they could be doing."
