HILTON HEAD CHORAL SOCIETY

“America Sings”

The Hilton Head Choral Society’s annual concert this year will also welcome the Savannah Brass Quintet and guest speaker General Lloyd W. “Fig” Newton, retired U.S. Air Force four-star general originally from Ridgeland. He was the first African American pilot in the Air Force Thunderbirds.

HILTON HEAD CHAMBER MUSIC INSTITUTE

The annual educational program of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra will be June 7-17. Sixteen high school string musicians from seven different states will participate in four quartets. The public is invited to the following free concerts:

BIENNALE 28TH NATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION

The national call for entries attracted 639 works of art from 35 states. Top pieces were selected based on originality of concept, composition and execution. The exhibition will feature work across seven media categories, including three-dimensional, oil or acrylic, photography, pastel, mixed media and watermedia.
