Donald Trump Jr. was in Bossier City, Louisiana, Wednesday evening as part of Louisiana Attorney General's, Jeff Landry's Get Out the Vote Rally.

"We are in north Louisiana," said Landry. "We come up here as often as we can and tonight is a night because we're getting close. Early voting is Sept. 30, and the Election Day is Oct. 14."

Landry is running for Louisiana Governor and is the Republican frontrunner. During his rally on Sept. 13, Trump stood in front of a packed audience at the Stage at Silver Star and gave his endorsement.

"I was an early guy on the Landry train, he is someone that is out there fighting for all of the things we collectively believe in," said Trump. "He is one of those people who actually gets stuff done and we need more of that."

He continued by highlighting the injunction Landry won to stop the Biden administration from colluding with big tech. He said, "when we talk about actually fighting back, that happened here, that started here in Louisiana but that's something that solves problems in all 50 states. And guess what that's the mentality that can fix Louisiana."

Trump stated that Louisiana has three of the highest crime cities of the top 10 cities in the United States. He said, "we can actually do something about that... it doesn't have to be so."

Landry said, "y'all live in the Shreveport-Bossier area and unfortunately y'all that city is on one of the three most dangerous cities in the country. But guess what because of your vote putting me in the governor's seat we are taking it out."

Landry also stated that he is going to accomplish this safety approach with the knowledge that he has from being a police officer, sheriff and Attorney General.

"If we all get behind people who are willing to lead us into that fight, we can actually win," said Trump.

"We are going to put a smile on this state," said Landry.

Trump was not the only special guest Wednesday evening, but Rascall Flats frontman Gary LeVox and Tracy Lawrence provided musical entertainment.
