If you’re looking for live coverage of former President Donald Trump being arraigned in a Manhattan courtroom, you won’t find it.

Judge Juan M. Merchan late Monday turned down requests from media outlets to have TV cameras in the courtroom, where Trump will be arraigned Tuesday. He will permit five news photographers to take pictures, but they have to leave once the arraignment begins.

It’s still not known what is in the indictment, but the assumption is that Trump was indicted over accusations that he paid hush money to an adult entertainer known as Stormy Daniels.

CNN, Fox News and MSNBC spent Tuesday morning covering the case, reporting that it is four miles from Trump Tower, where the former president spent the night, to 100 Centre St., the lower Manhattan address of the courthouse where he will appear.

He is expected to comment either before or after the arraignment, maybe both, and has scheduled a speech Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago, his Florida home.
