Donate candy, earn money today; Local dentistry to hold Halloween candy buy-back event

For 12 years Wright Smiles Pediatric Dentistry in Springboro has hosted its candy buyback event to help our troops.
Kids bring their candy in a big, weigh it and then get a dollar for every pound they give.
The candy gets sent to troops.
The largest donation the dentistry has ever received weighed 22 pounds.

Tuesday, a girl and her mother dropped off 16 pounds of candy — the largest donation of the day.
Along with candy, Wright Smiles also donates toothbrushes and toothpaste to the troops.
The money that is exchanged for candy comes out of Dr. Wright’s pocket.
The event runs until 7 p.m, but if you can’t make it Wright Smiles also accepts candy donations over the next few days at their office on Remick Blvd.
