It’s already been two months since the legendary singer and songwriter passed away, but just as we thought we’d heard everything from Prince, Donatella Versace played one of his unreleased songs at her latest fashion show.

At her Men’s SS17 show last weekend, the 61-year-old Italian fashion designer used the tune as a soundtrack for her collection for Milan Fashion Week. She said that the singer had given it to her as a ‘personal gift’.

According to List, the press notes for the show read: ‘The soundtrack features never-before-heard music by Prince, which was written and recorded as a personal gift to Donatella Versace.

‘Donatella would like to use this special occasion as an opportunity to share this incredible music from a dear, and much missed friend.’

There are believed to be thousands of unheard songs by Prince in his ‘vault’, but we can only speculate as to how many.
