Donations needed for Champaign’s EIF food drive

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — There are only a few days left to donate to the City of Champaign and the Champaign Park District’s food drive for Eastern Illinois Foodbank.

Nonperishable food items are being accepted through March 3. This includes canned fruits, vegetables, meats, soups, and complete meals such as SpaghettiOs and ravioli.

Donations can be dropped off at several local locations:

  • The City Building

  • Martens Center

  • Bresnan Meeting Center

  • CPD Operations Building

  • Springer Cultural Center

  • Leonhard Recreation Center

  • Hays Recreation Center

  • Douglass Community Center & Douglass Annex

  • Dodds Tennis Center

  • Virginia Theatre

If you are unable to donate between now and March 3, you may also do so through the EIF’s website.
