The Cleveland Browns have a lot of talent on their roster especially with all of their offensive weapons. Donovan Peoples-Jones is planning to be one of the guys the team counts on for years to come.

Coming into his second year, Peoples-Jones is looking to build on a rookie season that showed promise. Despite being a sixth-round pick on a team loaded with wide receivers, the Michigan receiver made the team and produced over 300 yards receiving on just 14 receptions.

At 6’2″ and over 200 pounds, Peoples-Jones gives Cleveland a big receiver who is also explosive. Not only did he run a 4.48 40 yard dash but he also had great jump scores coming out of college with a 44.5″ vertical leap and a 139″ broad jump.

On the first day of training camp, he put those skills to work with this highlight catch on a throw from backup quarterback Kyle Lualetta:

With Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry as starters, Peoples-Jones will be competing with Rashard Higgins and Anthony Schwartz for playing time and targets. Higgins has been a favorite of Baker Mayfield for a few years and the Browns just spend a third-round pick on Schwartz for his speed.

If Peoples-Jones keeps making plays like that, the Browns may have found a starting level receiver for their future in the sixth round.
