How is the Columbus City school strike affecting high school sports?
For the 2nd time in 3 years, Columbus City Schools athletics have been paused for all Fall sports. Both sets of soccer teams looking to have off campus workouts while the teachers are on strike. Pray for all CCS students and athletics during this difficult time. #GoBraves

The Columbus Education Association strike is not all about money, some say
But did you fix the leaking roofs, hire enough nurses, fix the heat (Not AC) hire school psychologists, get rid of the mold and make repairs to be in the health code requirements? It’s not about pay and benefits. It’s about safe conditions for kids and the mismanagement of $300m

Did Columbus City Schools quit on negotiating with teachers?
Why would you ever stop negotiating? We are still ready to negotiate. Feels like you quit on everyone who wants the schools Columbus students deserve.

There are some who are supporting the Columbus City Schools
Give them 48 hours and fire them. Their PR is mindless, the kids would rather be in school and their extracurricular activities. If the teachers cared about the kids, they'd still be teaching.
