A celebration of Italian heritage, culture and music, this three-day family street festival will feature national entertainment, authentic Italian food, festival rides, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, great shopping and more. The cooking demonstrations will be at the La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage and feature chef Marco Sciortino, chef Thomas Op't Holt from Tavern Pi, baker Nina from Nina's Fresh Bakery and more.

LagoonFest

LagoonFest 2022 will take place along the West Palm Beach Waterfront on Saturday.

Showcasing the Lake Worth Lagoon, a 20-mile long urban estuary and local treasure that touches 13 cities, the ninth annual LagoonFest will be packed with fun and educational features. Local scientists will share the history of the lagoon and why it's so important. Also expect exhibitor booths, a kayak clean-up tour, boat tours, a kid's zone, representatives from Busch Wildlife Sanctuary and much more, as well as local beers and food.

As far as craft festivals go, this one is tough to beat with its handcrafted leather goods, paintings, photography, personalized products, glassworks, and much more all displayed along scenic A1A and the Atlantic Ocean.  Get a jump on that holiday shopping while perusing these goods that have been created by some of the nation's top crafters. Holiday in Paradise will kick off with the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony. Not just any tree either: This is Sandi, the world’s only 700-ton holiday sand tree. Voted the “Best Public Holiday Lights Display,” by USA TODAY readers, Sandi will once again light up the West Palm Beach waterfront during the most festive time of the year.

Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade and Toy Drive

The 28th annual parade and 23rd annual toy drive will travel along the intracoastal waterway from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse on Dec. 3.

The 28th annual parade and 23rd annual toy drive, which benefit Toys for Tots and Little Smiles, kick off the holiday season. Small boats, sailboats, and megayachts will be adorned with millions of holiday lights illuminating the waterways. Though decked out for a great cause in the holiday spirit, bragging rights are on the line and prizes are to be had by the most creatively-decorated boats with the most enthusiastic crews. Led by a traveling Zambelli fireworks display, the boats will travel the Intracoastal Waterway from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

West Palm Beach Arts Festival

The sixth annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival will be held Dec. 3-4 at the Armory Art Center West Palm Beach.

Held at the Armory Art Center, this sixth annual event will feature two days of artwork and shopping, tours, demonstrations, kids activities. In addition, there will be live music by Neil Bacher and Friends, the PBSC New Standards Sextet, the Roaring Kelly Band, Smokehouse Militia and Gypsy Strings. The center is at the south end of Howard Park within walking distance of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, the Palm Beach Convention Center, Hilton West Palm Beach, and The Square West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival

Once again this year's event will feature dozens of award-winning, celebrity and local chefs including Marc Murphy, Ashley Christensen, Daniel Boulud, Robert Irvine, Maneet Chauhan, Joe Flamm, Clay Conley, Ben Ford, Lindsay Autry, Rodney Scott, Rick Mace and Ben Robinson. There will be events throughout the Palm Beaches; each requires registration and tickets purchased in advance.

Winterfest

Wellington resident, rapper, actor and philanthropist Vanilla Ice will once again headline and host Winterfest in Wellington on Dec. 9.

Keeping with tradition, this annual event will be headlined by music icon, philanthropist, actor and television star Vanilla Ice. Guests will be treated to live musical performances on two stages, retail and holiday shopping, a silent disco, food vendors, kids and teens interactive Blizzard Beach, lounges for adults and more.  Parking will be available onsite, and remotely with shuttle service.

Boynton Beach Holiday Boat Parade

Boynton Beach's Holiday Boat Parade will be Dec. 9, with boats cruising from Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana south to the C-15 Canal in Delray Beach.

Held in partnership with the Town of Hypoluxo, Town of Lantana and the City of Delray Beach, this annual event will feature private and commercial vessels decked out in holiday lights and decor and feature costumed captains and crews. Though the parade can be viewed from multiple locations, the official viewing area is the Boynton Harbor Marina at 735 Casa Loma Blvd. There will be activites at the marina including festive music, children's activities, a visit from Santa, food and beverages from Two Georges and more.

South Florida Fair

The South Florida Fair will run Jan. 13-29, with a theme of "Dino-Myte" and a focus on dinosaurs.

Running since 1912, this event will span 17 days of fun. The theme of this year's fair is "Dino-Myte" and will feature fascinating pre-historic creatures, from the mighty T-rex to the tiny raptor. Fairgoers can discover what it would have been like to walk alongside these amazing beasts. There also will be hundreds of great rides, games, food and music as always.

South Florida Garlic Fest

Held in Feb. 4 and 5 in Wellington, the South Florida Garlic Festival is one big stinking event! There will be live music, vendors, drinks and some of the most delicious garlicky foods imaginable like these garlic chicken curry kabobs.

Also known as the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art, Antique & Design Show, this is event is known as one of the most luxurious and sophisticated showcases of its kind in the United States. In its 20th year, The Palm Beach Show remains the area’s only high-end showcase offering items spanning every genre, juxtaposing many periods and movements.

ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival

Now in its 38th year, this fine arts festival is an outdoor arts event showcasing a juried exhibition of outstanding works from more than300 artists that attracts tens of thousands of art lovers and collectors. The festival also features a Youth Art Competition, ArtiKids Kids Zone, live entertainment and much more.

Delray Beach Open

This is an ATP World Tour 250 series men's professional tennis tournament and the world's only ATP Champions Tour and ATP 250 event featuring legends as well as top-ranked stars. Though the tennis is the draw, other activities including a Ladies Luncheon, a Beer and Wine Tasting are also in the mix.

The Honda Classic

Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival

More than 600 chalk artists will use the downtown blocks of Lake and Lucerne avenues as their canvases and transform the city into a temporary outdoor museum of original art and masterpiece reproductions. Palm Beach International Boat Show

The 41st Palm Beach International Boat Show, owned by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and produced by Informa Markets, will feature marine-related goods from nearly 500 exhibitors, nearly two dozen seminars and over 350 boats ranging in size from 30-foot cabin cruisers to megayachts well over 100 feet.

Black Gold Jubilee

Belle Glade’s annual jubilee is a celebration of the area’s rich soil, nicknamed “Black Gold” for its color along with its ability to produce bountiful harvests year after year. Officially starting in 1978, the jubilee has grown to be the best-attended festival in the area, drawing several thousand residents and visitors from across South Florida. The festivities begin with a 5K walk/run and a 10K run on Torry Island followed by the Main Street Parade. There will be live music including a set by country music sensation Easton Corbin.

Delray Affair

Nicknamed "The Greatest Show under the Sun," the affair, which turns 61 this year, will once again feature an eclectic mixture of art, great crafts and funky products from around the world. It is one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast United States.

The event is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 14 and 15 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 16. Downtown Delray Beach. Information: delrayaffair.com

Sunfest, May 4-7, will be just as rocking as last year's when this crowd was going wild to artist Steve Aoki.

Though the official lineup has not yet been released, you know — unless you've been living under a rock — that organizers will not disappoint. In addition to great music, there will be fantastic food, drinks and crafts and artwork to see and purchase.
