BAY COUNTY − With summer months approaching, many schools across Bay County are gearing up for graduation.

In a press release on Wednesday, Bay District Schools announced its 2023 graduation schedule. More than a dozen local schools are slated to host graduation ceremonies between May 5-30.

Here's the list:

What schools have graduation, and when are their ceremonies?

  • Chautauqua Charter School on May 5 at 6 p.m.

  • Margaret K Lewis School on May 18 at 10 a.m.

  • Bay Virtual School on May 18 at 5 p.m.

  • Palm Bay Prep Academy on May 18 at 6 p.m.

  • Rutherford High School on May 19 at 7 p.m.

  • Rosenwald High School on May 22 at 12 p.m.

  • North Bay Haven Charter Academy on May 22 at 7 p.m.

  • J.R. Arnold High School on May 22 at 7:30 p.m.

  • New Horizons Learning Center on May 23 at 3:30 p.m.

  • Bay High School on May 23 at 7:30 p.m.

  • A Crawford Mosley High School on May 24 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Central High School on May 25 at 6:30 p.m.

  • Deane Bozeman School on May 25 at 7 p.m.

  • Haney Technical College on May 30 at 6 p.m.

  • Chautauqua Charter School's ceremony will be in the Bay High School STEM Building.

  • Margaret K Lewis School's ceremony will be in the Margaret K. Lewis School Multipurpose Room.

  • Bay Virtual School's ceremony will be in the Gretchen Nelson Scott Fine Arts Center.

  • Palm Bay Prep Academy's ceremony will be in the Palm Bay Cafeteria.

  • Rutherford High School's ceremony will be at Joe and Jeanette Chapman Field at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

  • Rosenwald High School's ceremony will be in First Baptist Church's fellowship hall.

  • North Bay Haven Charter Academy's ceremony will be at Joe and Jeanette Chapman Field at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

  • J.R. Arnold High School's ceremony will be at Mike Gavlak Stadium.

  • New Horizons Learning Center's ceremony will be at Lynn Haven United Methodist Church.

  • Bay High School's ceremony will be at Joe and Jeanette Chapman Field at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

"Graduation is such an exciting time of year for students, families and staff," Bay Superintendent Bill Husfelt said in the release. "We are so proud of each and every graduate and look forward to seeing them be the next leaders of Bay County."
