There is no shortage of live concerts taking place Nov. 29-Dec. 5 in Topeka.

Whether you are looking for a holiday-themed concert, classic country or classic rock, there is a performance for everyone.

This week is also your last chance this year to see a Topeka Jazz Workshop performance as it is the last of the 2021 season.

Here is a list of five concerts to add to your calendar this week.

Topeka Symphony

The Topeka Symphony will perform its annual holiday concert 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at Washburn University's White Concert Hall, 1700 S.W. 17th St.

This year's theme for the concert is "En Pointe."

The concert follows this season's emphasis on the music of dance and will feature the Kansas State University's tap ensemble. The group will perform to various songs including favorites from "The Nutcracker."

Topeka Jazz Workshop

Topeka Jazz Workshop wraps up its season with its holiday concert 3 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Topeka Performing Arts Center, 214 S.E. 8th Ave.

Kansas City Jazz All-Stars' Stanton Kessler will perform and will be joined by pianist Roger Wilder, bassist James Albright, drummer John Kizilarmut and vocalist Kathleen Holeman.

Tickets for the concert are $25 and can be purchased at topekajazz.org or at the door.

Zach Williams

Christian musician Zach William will bring his Christmas show 7 p.m. Dec. 4 to the Stormont Vail Events Center.

Gospel singer Zach Williams will bring his Christmas tour 7 p.m. Dec. 4 to the Stormont Vail Events Center, 1 Expocentre Drive.

Williams will be joined by up-and-coming singer Anne Wilson.

The concert will feature music from William's Christmas album "I Don't Want Christmas to End."

Williams' music is inspired by the sounds of outlaw country, southern rock, contemporary roots music and classic and contemporary Christian music.

Tickets start at $25.75 and can be purchased at stormontvaileventscenter.com.

The Coots

Topeka-based band The Coots will perform 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at The Vinewood, 2848 S.E. 29th St.

The Coots are a classic rock and alternative band.

Tickets for the concert are $10 and can be purchased at thehistoricvinewood.com or at the door.

No Good Johnny

No Good Johnny, a classic country band, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Jayhawk Theatre, 720 S.W Jackson St.

The performance is part of the theater's monthly After Walk at the Hawk.

Drinks will be provided by Norsemen Brewing Co.

There is a $5 cover at the door.
