The popular Disney show Secrets of Sulphur Springs has some familiar Shreveport faces in its third season.

Owner of Northwood Acting Studio Garrett Kruithof and one of his students Terry J. Nelson can be seen in recurring roles on this season of Sulphur Springs.

The time-travel mystery series follows a young boy who relocates to the fictional town of Sulphur Springs, Louisiana whose family settles down in the haunted Tremont Hotel. He discovers a portal that takes him back in time and he tries to solve the mysteries of some of the hotel's deceased residents.

Kruithof portrays Judge Walker while Nelson plays the sheriff. This isn't the first time they've worked on a production together but it is the first time they've shared screen time.

"He's my mentor and he just took me under his wing," said Nelson. "We did it just like they [their characters] were supposed to be friends and it played so well and they saw how well it went and getting to do it together, it was just the best part."

The series was shot in New Orleans and the two were able to hang out, sightsee and most importantly, rehearse extensively.
