Donut deals, buck-a-shuck, Bubbly and Bloody Marys: Fall River Eats

Where do you want to eat?

With so many diverse options throughout the Fall River area for foodies with an array of palates, it should be an easy decision. But it is anything but.

With endless places to turn for a delicious dining experience — on top of juggling different moods of fellow companions — it can be hard to settle on just one. But maybe we can help narrow things down.

We've compiled a list of meal deals, special events, and mouth-watering offerings at local eateries and markets to consider when planning your next night on the town, or quick stop for a tasty treat.

Buck-A-Shuck at the Cove

What's better than finding a pearl? Finding buck-a-shuck oysters at your favorite eatery. When it comes to seafood appetizers, oysters top many New Englanders' lists. They're so beloved, in fact, that the Cove Restaurant and Marina has a whole night dedicated to them. Every Tuesday, devour fresh oysters and little necks for $1 each from 3 p.m. until close. The Cove Restaurant is located at 392 Davol St. Call 508-672-4540 to make a reservation or drop by.

Mmmmm, doughnuts

If there were one ring to rule them all, it would be made of dough not gold. Bring your sweet tooth and — maybe pants with an elastic waistband — to The Donut Factory on Thursdays for a tasty deal. Get pure glazed goodness for just 99 cents at the Fairhaven shop — a deal which I think donut superfan Homer Simpson himself would approve. No purchase is required to be eligible for the promo, and there's no limit on how many glazed doughnuts you can order. Donut Factory is located at 7 Howland Road, Fairhaven.

Bubbly and Bloody Marys

Every Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. enjoy brunch with Bubbly and Bloody Marys at 19 Prime & Tapas, 19 Jeremiah Sullivan Blvd., Fall River.
