Dorothy Lucey’s Farewell On ‘Good Day L.A.’
Today was Dorothy Lucey’s final day on KTTV’s Good Day L.A. after her contract was not renewed. Here is her sendoff on the show from co-anchors Jillian Reynolds, who is switching to freelance status, and Steve Edwards. The video references a story in yesterday’s LA Times that mentions “unflattering comments about Lucey” made previously by Reynolds on Howard Stern’s radio show and gives a shoutout to Deadline for breaking the story on the Good Day L.A. changes. In light of Lucey’s departure, the show will hold on-air tryouts for the vacant chair in the mold of the syndicated Live With Kelly.
