Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencil in Dark Pearl

Charlotte Tilbury products are known for being unabashedly decadent, but did you know they offer 2-in-1 benefits too? The Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencils can be applied as a liner for a chic and simple look that’s perfect for work, or smudged all over the lid for a messier, undone effect.

They come in eight jewel-toned shades formulated to suit different eye colours, of which Dark Pearl is a fantastic universally flattering shade for everyday wear. Both liner and shadow looks are so easy to create, and last all day with help from a primer or eyeshadow base.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Powder Pink

If you’re always in a rush out the door, these creamy pots from Bobbi Brown are the way to go. The Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge offers a healthy flush to the cheeks, and a soft dose of colour for the lips. With an emollient formula that dries down to a semi-matte finish, they can be applied over makeup or worn alone for a more natural look.

Powder Pink is a natural pink-mauve that would look beautiful on both pale and deep skin tones. Try the coral shade Maui for a beach-inspired look when you’re jetting off for a holiday!

Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Compact

This highlighter-eyeshadow hybrid has received rave reviews from beauty bloggers and journalists, and it isn’t difficult to see why. With a creamy texture and a beautiful champagne-beige hue, it’s the perfect shade for lids, cheeks, and anywhere else you want to sparkle.

For the eyes, apply with your ring finger to the centre of the lid, and blend out with a fluffy brush. For cheekbones, the cupid’s bow and the arch of the brow, apply with a contour brush for a precise glow.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer

If you’re a fan of streamlining your makeup collection, try investing in a foundation with a built-in concealer. This Clinique offering is full coverage, long-wearing, and the perfect balance between matte and dewy.

The innovative wand applicator adapts to your needs — lightly dab the tip on blemishes to spot conceal and blend or sweep across your face for full-coverage in seconds.

Every shade dries down to perfectly match your skin tone, so allow five minutes of ‘breathing room’ before applying powder, bronzer or blush.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater

In need of a hydration boost? This multi-purpose spray is fantastic for offering an on-the-go spritz of moisture but it’s also great for intensifying your eyeshadow. Spray a few drops onto your eyeshadow brush (once it’s loaded with your favourite shimmery eyeshadow), and watch as the shade develops into a foiled, intensely glossy look.

For another beauty hack, try spraying a few drops onto your muslin cloth when removing face masks. The added hydration will mean your skin will be less irritated. Give you face a couple of extra spritz post-mask to keep things soothed and smooth!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil

I’ve recently tested this gorgeous primer-oil hybrid out, and have been so impressed thus far. With a silky, lightweight texture, this blend of precious oils and extracts (including argan, raspberry seed, sweet almond and jojoba) smooths over dry patches, preps skin for base, and creates a dewy, luminous glow.

This oil can be used in a multitude of ways: as a cuticle conditioner, a split-ends treatment, a facial massage oil after using a clay face treatment, or to simply rehydrate scratchy, flaky complexions.

I’ve been using this for a week now, and my skin looks healthy, well-rested, and surprisingly grease-free with a little help from powder. It’s my new skincare secret for spring and summer, and an essential step in my makeup routine.
