Double shooting in Whitehaven kills man, injures woman

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An overnight double shooting at New Horizon Apartments has killed a man and critically injured a woman.

At 2:50 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3600 block of Kingsgate Drive.

A male was pronounced deceased on the scene. A female was transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Police have given no information about the suspects.
