"We're going to pay off the house and our car and some other stuff. We will help out our adult children a little bit and pay bills," he said.

But he said he has no plans to quit his job.

Cox has been playing the Lottery on a regular basis for the past couple of years, usually buying his tickets at the Circle K. The most money he had won previously was $5,000 on a scratch-off ticket.

In June, a New Philadelphia couple, Archie and Denise Chenevey, won $50,000 a year for 20 years playing the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, Billion.
