Dover High grad and current Mount Union standout Sexton named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference

Ian Sexton, a Dover High School graduate, was one of 55 fall sports student-athletes from the University of Mount Union fall sports season to be named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.

To be Academic All-OAC a student athlete must have been at the school for at least a year and/or sophomore status, at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and maintain varsity status.

Sexton is a 6-foot, 175-pound junior at Mount Union majoring in Sports Business and plays defense and special teams for the Purple Raiders. This is his second year to receive Academic All-OAC.

The selections were part of 401 OAC student-athletes in football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's cross country conference-wide that were recognized.
