Dover man pleads guilty to inducing teen girls to send him explicit images, videos

CONCORD — Evan Gadarowski, 29, a Dover man accused of inducing teenage girls to send him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves, has pleaded guilty in federal court.

Gadarowski waived indictment and pleaded guilty to one count each of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, according to Jane Young, U.S. attorney for New Hampshire.

Between 2018 and 2021, Gadarowski solicited, received, and disseminated sexually explicit images and videos depicting numerous minors, according to Young.

Gadarowski posed as a bisexual teenage girl using sexually explicit images and videos of a minor survivor as part of a fictitious online persona, a practice sometimes referred to as “catfishing,” according to Young. He pursued online relationships with high school age girls. Not knowing his identity, girls sent him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves. Investigators found Gadarowski sold collections of sexually explicit images depicting some of the minor survivors to others online, Young stated.

U.S. District Court Judge Samantha Elliott scheduled sentencing for Feb. 2. The charging statute provides a sentence of no greater than 20 years in prison, a minimum of 5 years of supervised release, a fine of $250,000 and mandatory restitution, according to Young.

Homeland Security Investigations led the investigation. Assistance was provided by the Nashua Police Department and the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kasey Weiland is prosecuting the case.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse, launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice. Information: justice.gov/psc.
