Dover, New Phila leads ECOL spring sports stars

Dover and New Philadelphia baseball, softball and boys tennis programs swept top honors as the final East Central Ohio League All Conference teams or the spring sports season were selected recently.

Dover's Ayden Hall was named Player of the Year in baseball and his coach, Jeff Fondriest, claimed Coach of the Year honors.

New Phila's Julia Miller won Player of the Year honors in softball and her coach, John Dupke, captured Coach of the Year kudos.

In boys tennis, Dover's Nicholas Castricone was named Player of the Year and his coach, Ben Bartholomew, was honored as Coach of the Year.
